About

This blog is for those curious about all things android. At some point I plan on actually building an Android app or too, but until then I will be posting reviews and nonsense about any of the Android related apps and news I stumble upon.

I currently have a Motorola Droid on Verizon so unless anyone wants to sponsor me so I can afford more phones and data plans all my testing will be carried out on this marvelous beast.

CoPilot Live, the popular GPS navigation app, is on sale for $19.99 in the Android Market through the end of August! The price is normally $29.99.

Why pay for CoPilot Live when there are free nav apps available? Because CoPilot Live
stores its detailed street-level maps directly on-board your Android phone so users
don't have to rely on a mobile connection. This critical difference between
CoPilot Live and free apps means that you don't need to:

Ø Download maps for each trip

Ø Worry about being left stranded without maps in mobile dead spots

Ø Rack up outrageous roaming charges

Plus there's the saving if you rent a car-you don't need to order a GPS
    system.

To read more about the benefits of on-board navigation, check out CoPilot
    Live's blog post,

If you would like to offer a few SD cards with the CoPilot Live GPS
navigation app to your readers with Android phones, please let us know. We'd
like to offer one to you, too!

    Best,

    Jeanne
